The incident occurred on Gökdeniz Street in the Hüseyin Avni Ulaş neighborhood of the Palandöken district. Ümit Akın went to the roof of the 5-story apartment building this morning to check the chimney he had repaired yesterday. While checking the chimney, Akın suddenly lost his balance and began to slide. Unable to find a place to hold on to on the roof, Akın fell to the ground.
