Hakan Taşıyan, who was hospitalized in recent weeks due to suspected heart attack, made a statement regarding his health condition. Taşıyan said he would be discharged in a few days.
One of the beloved names of Arabesque music, Hakan Taşıyan, was hospitalized due to an illness he experienced in the past weeks. Good news has come from the artist who was treated under suspicion of a heart attack.
Speaking about his health status, Taşıyan stated, "I am fine, thank God, I have no problems. I will be discharged in a few days."
The artist's statement relieved his fans, while get well soon messages were shared on social media.
HE HAD CLUNG TO LIFE WITH ORGAN TRANSPLANT
On the other hand, Hakan Taşıyan had fought a serious health battle in 2020 and had been treated in the hospital for a long time. The artist, who was waiting for a transplant due to kidney and liver failure, had his sister as a donor for the kidney. After a suitable liver was found from Izmir, both kidney and liver transplants were performed on Taşıyan.
Previously narrating the challenging process, Taşıyan had expressed that his illness emerged unexpectedly. "I felt a pain in my foot while waiting for a taxi. When we went to the hospital, they said 'broken,' but there was no sprain. Later, we were referred to Gülhane. There, I was diagnosed with cirrhosis and was told that an urgent liver and kidney transplant was needed. I stayed in Gülhane for five months," he recounted his experiences.
Stating that he later moved to another hospital in Ankara for his treatment, the artist mentioned that he waited for months for a cadaver liver. Taşıyan, who said that the kidney transplant was made possible by his sister Sinem being the donor, expressed, "I am very lucky. Thanks to the prayers of good people, I got back on my feet."
