An unidentified person entered the garden of a house in the Mevlana neighborhood of Osmaniye and stole Araucana chickens, which lay blue eggs, by stuffing them into a hanging t-shirt; after the incident was captured on security cameras, the owner, Sertan Yılmaz, filed a complaint, and the police launched an investigation.
In Osmaniye, moments when chickens of the Araucana breed, known for laying blue eggs and originating from Chile, were stolen were captured by security cameras. The suspect, who entered the garden of a house, was seen filling the chickens into a t-shirt hanging on a rope in the garden and then leaving.
ENTERED THE GARDEN AND TOOK THE CHICKENS WITH A T-SHIRT
The incident occurred on November 22 in the Mevlana neighborhood. The unidentified suspect entered the garden of a house and took the special Araucana chickens. Security camera footage showed the suspect taking a t-shirt hanging in the garden, filling it with the stolen chickens, and leaving in this manner.
OWNER FILED A COMPLAINT
Sertan Yılmaz, who noticed that his chickens were missing in the morning, saw the theft when he watched the security camera footage and went to the police station to file a complaint. Yılmaz, who stated that his chickens had been disappearing in a similar manner for a while, said that the incident was clarified by the camera and requested the capture of the suspect.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
Upon receiving the notification, police teams began to examine the security camera footage. An investigation was initiated regarding the incident to identify and capture the suspect.
