The incident occurred last night in the Uzunkuyu neighborhood. Barış Şahin went to the forest after getting permission from his family to go hunting for wild boar with his friend H.M. According to reports, H.M., who is said to have worked as a shepherd on a farm, accidentally shot his friend Şahin during the hunt. Realizing the situation, H.M. wanted to call the 112 Emergency Call Center, but his phone had no signal. Following this, H.M. went on the road and asked a car driver for help. Barış Şahin was taken to Aladağ State Hospital by car. Despite the intervention of doctors, Şahin could not be saved.
H.M. was taken into custody by the gendarmerie, and an investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
