A citizen who went out to a rocky area to fish in Antalya found himself stranded as the wave height increased. Without waiting for the sea police who came to rescue him, he jumped into the water. When the sea police arrived in the area, the 63-year-old man rejected the life buoy thrown to him and swam to the shore.

Yusuf Ö., who went down from the cliffs to Bambus Beach in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya to fish, became stranded at a rocky area about 25 meters offshore as the wave height increased.

When Yusuf Ö. could not return to the shore from where he was, he informed his daughter of the situation. After his relatives reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, fire and police teams were dispatched to the area. When the teams that arrived at the scene determined that it was difficult to reach Yusuf Ö.'s location, they requested support from the sea police.
