DISPUTE OVER RENOVATION COSTS

Noticing that the windows were broken, the two sisters went to the police station to file a complaint. Uğur and Köse claimed that the attack occurred due to a dispute over renovation costs related to the business and reported that they suspected the business owner B.Y.

"WE WERE THREATENED WITH OUR LIVES"

Describing the process, Burcu Uğur stated that water constantly leaked from the ceiling of their shop, causing them to suffer damage multiple times. Uğur said, "We face the same problem with every rain. Our electrical line has been damaged several times. We suggested that we get the renovation done and deduct it from the rent, but it was not accepted."

Uğur mentioned that they issued a warning to the business owner and claimed that they were threatened during this process, saying, "'If my sons hear about this, they won't let you stay here.' Such words were said. They also told our lawyer that they wouldn't let us open our business. In other words, we were being threatened with our lives," she stated.

NOTABLE DETAIL IN THE CAMERA FOOTAGE

Uğur claimed that in the security camera footage, the suspects were seen leaving B.Y.'s house, getting into a vehicle, then returning after covering their faces to carry out the attack, and afterward returning to the same address.

"WE ARE EXPERIENCING DAMAGE TO OUR REPUTATION"

Uğur expressed that the incident caused not only material but also moral damage, stating, "Today they throw stones, tomorrow they might use weapons. Our guests are worried. We will seek our rights through legal means and file a lawsuit for both material and moral compensation."

THE BUSINESS OWNER DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS

Speaking about the allegations against him, the business owner B.Y. claimed that he had no connection to the attack and did not know the suspects.

Police teams have started an investigation by examining the security camera footage to capture the suspects.
