"IT'S HOT LIKE HELL FIRE"
Muhammed Savaş evaluated that the temperature in Diyarbakır was between 48 and 50 degrees, stating, "In this heat, we are forced to pour water on ourselves to cool off or go to mosques to lie down. I lived in Istanbul too, there was humidity there, but here it is as hot as hell fire."
"IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE MOSQUES, WE'D BE DONE FOR"
Yakup Yaşar, who came from Ankara to visit, noted that he stopped sightseeing due to the heat and sought refuge in a mosque, saying, "Because the weather is very hot, we had to come to the mosque.
