As the war between Israel and Iran continues with full intensity on its 8th day, people in Tehran trampled on the US and Israeli flags spread on the streets.
The war that began on June 13, initiated by Israel and named "Rising Lion," has entered its 8th day, following retaliatory attacks by Iran, which it called "True Promise."
THE TOLL IS HEAVY
In Israel's attacks, at least 227 people have died, including high-ranking military officials such as Iranian Chief of General Staff Bakiri and Commander of the Revolutionary Guards Selami. In its retaliation, Iran targeted Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa, launching hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles, in addition to drones (UAVs). Due to Iranian missiles that bypassed Israel's air defense systems, at least 25 people lost their lives. The number of injured has been reported to exceed 500.
REACTION TO ISRAEL AND THE USA
On the 8th day of escalating conflicts due to Israel's military operations and Iran's responses, protests are growing in the streets of Tehran. Thousands of Iranians gathered in the capital to express their reactions against Israel and the USA.
THEY TRAMPLED ON THE FLAGS
Protesters trampled on the flags of the USA and Israel spread across the streets and squares. This symbolic act was interpreted as a message of support from the Iranian people to the regime, while also revealing the reaction to the support the USA provides to Israel.
