The international conference on the restoration of Afghanistan will be held in Bishkek on Oct. 10, KyrTAG quotes Kyrgyz Presdient Almazbek Atambayev as saying on Friday.

The international conference on the restoration of Afghanistan will be held in Bishkek on Oct. 10, KyrTAG "es Kyrgyz Presdient Almazbek Atambayev as saying on Friday.



Making his statement at the SCO summit, Atambayev said the organization should pay special attention to the development of the situation in Afghanistan and take part in the restoration of the country.



He invited international experts and the representatives SCO member-states to participate in this international conference.



Atambayev stressed that the security situation in the region concerns in the light of the withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan in 2014.



He urged the sides to strengthen cooperation among SCO member-states.
