Emphasizing that Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons, Pezeshkian recalled the fatwa of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating, "We are not after nuclear weapons. If you want, you can inspect a thousand times, we do not have atomic bombs. But we need nuclear science and nuclear energy because others will never meet our needs," he said.
"WE ARE A NATION OPEN TO NEGOTIATION"
Referring to the negotiations to be held with the U.S. on Saturday in Oman, Pezeshkian stated, "Hopefully, on Saturday, our Foreign Minister Mr. Araqchi will hold indirect talks with U.S. representatives in accordance with the recommendations of the Supreme Leader (Khamenei). Our stance on the current issues is clear and straightforward, as the Supreme Leader has repeatedly stated. We want peace and security, and we are a nation open to negotiation. However, we will not give up our achievements with dignity and will not make them a subject of bargaining," he said.
"WE HAVE BEEN INSPECTED THOUSANDS OF TIMES"
Pezeshkian stated that the U.S. should abandon its threatening language towards Iran, saying, "Our Supreme Leader said we are ready for negotiation, but it will not be direct. Because we do not trust. It is not acceptable to target our country with sanctions and then say 'let's talk.' Moreover, they only expect their own demands to be accepted in these talks. We are certainly ready to negotiate, but as the Supreme Leader emphasized, it should be indirect, dignified, and honorable. We will provide all kinds of assurances to show that we are not after nuclear weapons. Our facilities have already been inspected thousands of times," he said.

Pezeshkian stated that American investors can invest in Iran, saying, "The great leader Khamenei, whom I visit every week, is not against American investors investing in Iran. What we oppose are flawed policies like conspiracies and regime change attempts. Because Iran is not a country to be conspired against," he said.
"WHAT HAPPENED IN GAZA CAN HAPPEN TO US TOO"
Addressing Israel's attacks on Gaza, Pezeshkian stated that Israel is committing massacre and genocide against the people of the region, saying, "The Zionist regime easily massacres people without any humanitarian concern or regard for international law, regardless of whether they are women, men, elderly, or young, and this oppression is supported. If we remain defenseless, will they defend us? Will they help us? What happened to innocent people in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria can happen to us as well," he said.
