After the overflow of the Meriç River in Edirne, a citizen discovered a carp weighing approximately 7 kilograms in their field, which became one of the interesting images left by the flood.
After heavy rains and snowmelt in Bulgaria, the Meriç River, which has seen an increase in its flow, overflowed in Edirne, flooding agricultural lands, farms, and vineyard houses. Following the flood, farmers living in the area mobilized to save their animals and belongings.
A CARP EMERGED FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD
Meanwhile, an interesting event occurred after the overflow of the Meriç River. As the floodwaters receded, a citizen discovered a carp weighing approximately 7 kilograms in his field, and the images drew attention in the area.
Additionally, it was learned that other property owners along the river also caught fish weighing several kilograms in their fields and gardens.
"I WILL RELEASE IT BACK INTO THE MERIÇ RIVER"
Ahmet Doğan, who saw the fish in his field, stated that he noticed the carp was pregnant and said he would release it back into the depths of the Meriç River.
