The President of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalın, met with Khalil Hayye, the head of the Hamas Political Bureau Negotiation Team, and his accompanying delegation in Istanbul. The meeting addressed the second phase of the Gaza Peace Plan. The Hamas delegation expressed their gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for Turkey's mediation and guarantor role in achieving peace in Gaza so far, as well as for Turkey's increasingly prominent contributions in the second phase of the Gaza Peace Plan.

GAZA PEACE PLAN ON THE TABLE

During the meeting, developments within the scope of the Gaza Peace Plan, which has entered its second phase, were evaluated. The parties exchanged views on steps that could be taken to advance the process.

It was agreed to continue consultations on various topics, including increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza, the bilateral opening of the Rafah Border Gate, and the commencement of the Gaza National Administration Commission (NCAG).
