Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that operations were carried out against 11 criminal organizations in 10 provinces. In the operations, 142 members of organized crime groups, including their leaders, were apprehended, and 86 of them were arrested.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that operations were carried out against 11 separate organized crime groups in Istanbul, Diyarbakır, Ankara, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Samsun, Bursa, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, and Uşak as a result of the efforts of the Provincial Police Departments' Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Units in coordination with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the General Directorate of Security.
86 ARRESTS INCLUDING LEADERS
Of the 142 suspects captured during the operations, 86 were arrested. Sharing details about the operation, Minister Yerlikaya stated, "In Istanbul, T.B. (arrested) and S.G. (fled abroad) (2 separate organizations), in Diyarbakır, Ş.T. (arrested), in Ankara, R.A. (arrested), in Gaziantep, S.Y. (arrested), in Şanlıurfa, M.A. (arrested), in Samsun, G.A. (fled abroad), in Bursa, C.A. (arrested), in Kocaeli, F.M.T. (arrested), in Tekirdağ, A.E.A. (fled abroad), and in Uşak, B.G. (fled abroad) were the leaders of 11 separate Organized Crime Groups. In the operations that have been ongoing for the last 2 weeks, 142 suspects, including the leaders T.B., Ş.T., R.A., S.Y., M.A., C.A., and F.M.T., were captured. Of the suspects, 86 were arrested. Judicial control measures were imposed on 44 of them. The procedures for the others are ongoing." he stated.
MURDER, USURY, DRUGS...
The suspects who are members of the organized crime group that were captured are being investigated for the crimes of "Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes", "Threat", "Deliberately Endangering General Security", "Attempted Murder", "Violation of Law No. 6136", "Deliberate Injury", "Qualified Robbery", "Armed Threat", "Murder", "Usury", "Drug Trafficking", "Damage to Property", and "Insult".
WEAPONS, DRUGS, AND GAMING MACHINES SEIZED
As a result of the operations, 48 unlicensed handguns, 30 unlicensed shotguns, 3 bulletproof vests, various amounts of drugs, and 12 gaming machines were seized.
