The Secretary General of the AK Party, Eyyüp Kadir İnan, shared the results of their recent survey studies. İnan stated that the AK Party's vote rate has risen again ahead of the local elections on March 31, 2024, noting that the latest surveys show a vote rate of 36-37%.

İnan stated that Turkey has overcome its 50-year terrorism problem thanks to the careful and calm attitude of the People's Alliance, the AK Party's experience based on the past, and its success in keeping the field free from exploitation. Emphasizing that the terrorism problem has been eliminated with a terror-free Turkey and that the pains caused by terrorism have come to an end, İnan said, "The wise leadership of Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, his historical call, and on the other hand, the resolute and extensive experience of our President in ensuring brotherhood and peace over the years has brought us to the peace of gifting a terror-free Turkey, perhaps the greatest achievement of the last 25 years, to the youth." Thanking everyone who supported and contributed to the process, İnan noted that a climate of brotherhood and peace has been permanently established throughout Turkey.

"TODAY THERE IS A TURKEY WHERE ETHNICITY AND THOUGHTS CAN BE FREELY EXPRESSED"

Emphasizing the reforms made regarding fundamental rights and freedoms during the AK Party period, İnan said, "I am your young brother of Kurdish origin. In the past, people could not freely express their ethnicity or language. They could not even introduce themselves as religious. In this country, those who wore headscarves could not be employed in the public sector, could not become governors or academics. Today, thank God, there is a free Turkey where one can be employed in the public sector, enter university with a headscarf, and freely express their thoughts and ethnicity. This was achieved with great determination by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan," he stated.

"THE TERROR BARRIER HAS BEEN REMOVED, NOW IT'S TIME FOR INVESTMENT"

İnan pointed out that Turkey is also fighting against international powers that support terrorist organizations, saying, "The terror barrier has been removed. Turkey will continue to be the address of peace in its geography and the Middle East." Eyyüp Kadir İnan emphasized that the resources lost due to terrorism will now be allocated for the youth, for the country's development, and for investments in the region.

"WE ASKED 'ARE YOU A GUARANTOR FOR İMAMOĞLU?', NO RESPONSE"

Regarding questions about the corruption investigations in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, AK Party Secretary General İnan said: "There are the largest bribery and corruption allegations in the history of the Republic in the IMM, the misuse of resources amounting to 560 billion lira that should have been spent on the nation, and serious bribery allegations. These allegations have now reached a point that threatens even the presumption of innocence and will disturb the society. Instead of explaining these events, the CHP is trying to cover up its allegations by terrorizing the streets and boycotting. We are asking a single question. 'Are you a guarantor for Ekrem İmamoğlu?' We have never received the answer 'We are guarantors.' They are trying to suppress the process like a thief." İnan noted that the process regarding İmamoğlu has led to a serious loss of trust among CHP voters and pointed out the discussions and divisions within the party.

"WE ARE RISING IN THE POLLS"

Reminding that the AK Party conducts public opinion research not only during election periods but at all times and analyzes every result, İnan shared the results of the latest survey studies. Stating that the AK Party's votes have risen to the level of the vote rate before the local elections on March 31, 2024, İnan announced that the vote rates in the latest polls are between 36-37 percent. İnan said, "This is not enough for us; our goal is to reach higher rates. We are mobilized for any issue that will win the hearts of our citizens. According to the latest polls, there is no situation as described in the CHP; there is a serious decline in their votes. The calls for boycott have caused a very serious reaction from all segments of society. 67% of the society does not approve of this boycott. Especially the IMM investigation and the lack of response to the allegations are not approved by our citizens," he said.
