President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. During the meeting held at the Presidential Dolmabahçe Working Office in Istanbul, the relations between the two countries were discussed.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who was officially greeted by Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler at the airport, at the Presidential Dolmabahçe Working Office in Istanbul.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Intelligence Organization (MIT) President İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Presidential Foreign Policy and Security Chief Advisor Akif Çağatay Kılıç also attended the meeting.
STATEMENT FROM THE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTORATE
In a statement regarding the meeting from the Communications Directorate, it was stated, "President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the Dolmabahçe Working Office. The meeting is expected to address the evaluation of various aspects of Turkey-Pakistan bilateral relations, the review of cooperation processes carried out within the framework of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council established between the two countries, the last meeting of which was held in Islamabad last February with the participation of President Erdoğan, as well as regional issues including the fight against terrorism and international matters."
