Prostitution operation in Istanbul! Catalogs, 5-star hotels, luxury cars...

In prostitution operations conducted in three provinces centered around Istanbul, 8 suspects were arrested, and 9 victimized women were rescued. It was determined that they sent women to clients who selected from catalogs prepared by the network for a fee of 1000 dollars per night. Additionally, it was found that the women were generally taken to 5-star hotels in private cars used by members of the network.

The Istanbul Police Department's Public Order Branch, Moral Bureau teams identified the existence of a network that organized prostitution. After approximately 3 months of technical and physical surveillance, the identities of the suspects were determined.

THEY MADE SELECTIONS FROM THE CATALOG

It was determined that customers who selected from the catalogs prepared by the network were sent women for a fee of 1000 dollars per night. It was also found that the women were generally taken to 5-star hotels in luxury cars used by members of the network.

8 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

After collecting evidence, the Moral Bureau teams conducted simultaneous raids on 18 addresses identified in Esenyurt, Büyükçekmece, Ümraniye, Bağcılar, Başakşehir, Küçükçekmece, Beyoğlu, Kağıthane, Şişli, as well as in Sakarya and Zonguldak the day before yesterday. During the raids, 8 suspects who organized prostitution were taken into custody. The mobile phones seized from the suspects were confiscated for examination.

9 WOMEN FORCED INTO PROSTITUTION RESCUED

On the other hand, 9 women who were allegedly forced into prostitution were rescued during the operation and their statements were taken as victims. It was learned that the women were sent for a fee of 1000 dollars per night. The suspects, whose procedures were completed at the Public Order Branch, were referred to the courthouse. While 6 of the suspects were arrested and sent to prison, 2 suspects were released under judicial control.
