Dutch Eredivisie team Feyenoord has appointed club legend Robin van Persie as their head coach, signing a contract until 2027. The 41-year-old, who previously managed Heerenveen, also had a playing career during which he wore the jersey of Fenerbahçe.
Feyenoord, one of the teams in the Netherlands Eredivisie, has appointed Robin van Persie, who once played for Fenerbahçe and is one of the club's legendary figures, as their head coach. The young manager was previously coaching another Dutch team, Heerenveen.
SIGNED A CONTRACT UNTIL 2027
Feyenoord announced that an agreement has been reached with Heerenveen for Robin van Persie, and the 41-year-old coach is the new head of the team. Robin van Persie signed a contract that will last until 2027 with the Dutch team, and he will start his duties at his new club on Monday.

HIS TEAM HAS ALSO BEEN REVEALED
Rene Hake, who served as Erik ten Hag's assistant at Manchester United and has previously coached Twente, Utrecht, and GA Eagles, will be Van Persie's assistant. Yöri Bosschaart and Brian Pinas will also be part of Robin van Persie's team at Feyenoord.
HEERENVEEN PERFORMANCE
Robin Van Persie collected 27 points with 7 wins, 6 draws, and 10 losses in 23 league matches this season with Heerenveen. The 41-year-old young coach began his managerial career in the Feyenoord youth academy and had worked with various age groups before taking over at Heerenveen.
