The President of the Supreme Court, Ömer Kerkez, and his accompanying delegation made several visits in Eskişehir. Kerkez also examined the protected building that operated as the Supreme Court Service Building between 1923 and 1935, which now serves as the additional building of the Eskişehir Governorship's Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, as part of the project to convert it into the Supreme Court Museum.
Supreme Court President Ömer Kerkez, Supreme Court Secretary General Mehmet Fatih Belviranlı, Deputy Secretary General Ömrü Yılmaz, and Deputy Secretary General Koray Demirci visited the Eskişehir Courthouse. The visit was also attended by Eskişehir Governor Hüseyin Aksoy and Deputy Chief Public Prosecutors of Eskişehir.
Later, Kerkez visited Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor Üzeyir Karakülah and the Chairman of the Judicial Justice Commission of the First Instance Courts, Arif Hamdi Sazak.
INSPECTED THE SUPREME COURT MUSEUM PROJECT
Kerkez inspected the protected building that served as the Supreme Court Service Building between 1923-1935, which is now functioning as the Additional Building of the Eskişehir Governorship Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, within the scope of the project to convert it into the Supreme Court Museum.
During the on-site visit, the current situation, restoration needs, and planned works for its conversion into a museum were evaluated. Authorities provided Kerkez with a detailed presentation regarding the proposed arrangements within the project.
Kerkez and the accompanying delegation also visited the Eskişehir Judges' House before departing from Eskişehir.
