The incident took place late at night on Bolluca-İhsaniye Road in the Bolluca neighborhood of Arnavutköy district. According to reports, a stray buffalo that entered the road uncontrollably was first hit by a motorcycle in motion.

The motorcycle rider was thrown off and got stuck under the barriers due to the impact of the collision. Then, a commercial vehicle driver who noticed the accident at the last moment tried to maneuver to avoid the crash but failed and hit the same buffalo. While the buffalo died at the scene, the vehicles involved in the accident sustained heavy material damage.

Meanwhile, 3 people were injured and were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances dispatched to the scene. It was learned that one of the injured is in critical condition. Police teams took security measures at the scene, and the road was temporarily closed to traffic.
