Tehran MP Siraj, speaking to the Rokna news site broadcasting from Tehran, claimed that the explosion at the Port of Bandar Abbas, located on the shores of the Persian Gulf, was an act of sabotage.
"EXPLOSIVES WERE PLACED INSIDE THE CONTAINERS"
Claiming that the explosions at the port occurred at four separate points, Siraj stated, "The occurrence of explosions at four different locations means that explosives were placed inside the containers."
"EQUIPPED WITH EXPLOSIVES DURING TRANSPORT"
Rejecting the possibility of a natural fire, the Iranian MP said, "Chemicals usually ignite at only one point and do not cause such simultaneous explosions. These containers may have been equipped with explosives during transport, or even contaminated by local agents," he stated.
"THERE ARE CLEAR SIGNS OF ISRAEL'S INVOLVEMENT"
Siraj expressed the possibility that Israel may have used satellites or remote-controlled timing devices to carry out the explosions, stating, "They calculated the exact timing to cause the most damage at the port. There are clear signs of Israel's involvement in this," he said.
