Journalist Sinan Burhan, who was a guest on the Para Manşet program on TV100, asked Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Karaköse about claims that a trustee would be appointed to the CHP and that police leave had been canceled in Ankara. Burhan stated that he received a response indicating that the recent large drug operation conducted in Ankara was related to this issue, emphasizing that the matter had nothing to do with appointing a trustee to the CHP.
The popular program of tv100, "Para Manşet" hosted by Ebru Baki, featured an interview with the General News Director of Millet News Agency, Sinan Burhan, who shared details of his conversation with Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Karaköse regarding the recent claims that police leave has been revoked and that a trustee will be appointed to the CHP. Burhan stated that the recent large-scale drug operation conducted in Ankara has been interpreted in this context, noting that the issue has been drawn here but is not related to it.
SINAN BURHAN ASKED THE CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR ABOUT TRUSTEE CLAIMS
Sinan Burhan said the following regarding the issue during the tv100 broadcast:
"There has been a topic discussed in Ankara for a few days. Police leave has been revoked, and reinforcements from other provinces have been made. Those who are unaware of this process have made false claims about a trustee being appointed to the CHP. I am closely following these developments related to Ankara. When the trustee issue came up, I knew it was not the case. It is not right to interpret some movements as a form of cunning. I spoke with Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Karaköse regarding an emerging action. I asked, 'What is the situation regarding this operation?' Our Chief Prosecutor said, 'Mothers, fathers, and teachers are complaining; drug dealers have made people in the neighborhoods and schools desperate. Our duty is to clean Ankara from drug dealers. The fact that this has nothing to do with the CHP trustee was also revealed by today's operation.'"
