Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that criminal gangs, including Tren de Aragua, which have been placed on the U.S. list of terrorist organizations, have been defeated. He also criticized U.S. military activities and stated that they are ready for information sharing and joint security operations.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stated that all criminal gangs, including Tren de Aragua, which have been placed on the terrorist organizations list by the United States, have been defeated by security forces.
Speaking at the opening of the new center of the Bolivarian National Police Service (PNB) in the capital Caracas, Maduro expressed their readiness to share information and conduct joint security operations with all countries, especially the United States.
Maduro noted that the organizations known as Tren de Aragua, Tren del Llano, and "El Koki" have been defeated through security operations, criticizing the U.S. military activities in the Caribbean.
Claiming that the U.S. has adopted an "imperialist and aggressive" stance against Venezuela, Maduro stated that this approach "disproportionately and unlawfully violates" the United Nations (UN) Charter and international law.
"VENEZUELA HAS NEVER BEEN A THREAT"
President Maduro said, "Venezuela has never been a threat to the United States, is not now, and will never be. On the contrary, Venezuela is a security guarantee and a hope for the entire American continent."
Requesting the police organization to continuously create an operational readiness and preventive action plan, Maduro stated, "I want this within 24 hours. The contributions of our students and teachers are very valuable; your moral strength is my moral strength."
