At the opening of the Istanbul Culture Road Festival, good news came from the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. Minister Ersoy announced that new cities will be added to the festival network in 2026 and 2027.



Ersoy stated that the festival network will expand in 2026 with Aydın, Eskişehir, Kahramanmaraş, Mersin, Ordu, and Sakarya. He also noted that Balıkesir, Denizli, Hatay, Kocaeli, Muğla, and Tekirdağ will be added to the festival network in 2027. Minister Ersoy mentioned that the Turkey Culture Road Festivals will be held in 32 provinces in 2027.
