The Syrian Army took over the Al-Aktan Prison in Raqqa province under the control of the Damascus administration and began to transfer the SDF elements located there to Kobani.

Units affiliated with the Syrian Army announced that the SDF elements located around the Al-Aktan Prison in Raqqa province have begun to be transferred to the city of Kobani, east of Aleppo, and that the prison has been taken over by the Damascus administration.

THE FIRST STEP OF THE AGREEMENT REACHED ON JANUARY 18

The Operations Unit of the Syrian Army stated that the units affiliated with the army have started to transfer the SDF elements located around the Al-Aktan Prison in Raqqa province to the city of Kobani, east of Aleppo, and that this step is the first step towards the implementation of the agreement reached on January 18, and that the management of the prison has been taken over by the Ministry of Interior. The statement also noted that the army will accompany the SDF elements up to the vicinity of the city of Kobani.
