CAN BE PAID IN FULL OR IN INSTALLMENTS
Property tax payments can be made either in full or in installments at the taxpayer's discretion. Taxpayers who do not make their payments on time will incur late interest on their debts every month.
According to the law, certain groups are exempt from property tax. Retirees who own a single residence not exceeding 200 square meters, retirees receiving survivor's pensions, disabled individuals, veterans, and those who can document that they have no income are not required to pay taxes.
Citizens can make their payments through e-Government, the official websites of municipalities, or by visiting the municipality to which the property is affiliated in person.
