The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, announced the recruitment of a total of 1,036 personnel for Electricity Generation Inc. (EÜAŞ) and Turkey Electricity Transmission Company (TEİAŞ) to strengthen Turkey's energy infrastructure. Candidates must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey and meet the specified requirements. It was noted that there is no KPSS requirement for EÜAŞ.
The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, announced that a total of 1,036 personnel will be hired to strengthen the staff of Electricity Generation Inc. (EÜAŞ) and Turkey Electricity Transmission Inc. (TEİAŞ).
A TOTAL OF 1,036 PERSONNEL WILL BE HIRED
Bayraktar stated in a post on his social media platform X account that they have taken a new step to strengthen the human resources in Turkey's energy sector. He mentioned that a total of 1,036 people will be included in the staff, with 601 technicians and office staff for EÜAŞ and 435 technicians and support personnel for TEİAŞ, saying, "I believe our new colleagues will contribute to every stage of our energy infrastructure, from production to transmission. I wish them all the best in advance."
HOW TO APPLY FOR EÜAŞ AND TEİAŞ POSITIONS?
In a statement from the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, information was shared regarding who can apply for the positions. Accordingly, candidates must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey and not older than 36 years. Candidates applying for the disabled quota must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, while other candidates are required to have graduated from vocational or technical high schools in departments such as Electrical-Electronics Technology, Construction Technology, Chemical Technology, or Mechanical Technology.
EÜAŞ WILL HIRE PERSONNEL BY LOTTERY
EÜAŞ will hire a total of 601 permanent workers, including 574 technicians, 11 disabled individuals, and 16 former convicts, to strengthen its activities across the country. After the application process for EÜAŞ, a lottery draw will be held under the supervision of a notary on May 6-7. As a result of the lottery, 2,404 candidates will be determined and invited to interviews to be held in Adana, Ankara, and Istanbul. After evaluations, 601 candidates will be employed within EÜAŞ.
KPSS REQUIREMENT FOR TEİAŞ
TEİAŞ will hire a total of 435 new personnel, including 419 technicians, to be assigned in 52 provinces, including Istanbul and Ankara. Candidates applying to TEİAŞ must also be citizens of the Republic of Turkey, be at least 18 years old, and have scored at least 60 points in the 2024 KPSS P93 exam type.
Additionally, candidates are required to have graduated from the associate degree programs specified for the positions they are applying for.
Among the candidates who meet the application requirements, candidates will be determined based on the KPSS score ranking, up to four times the number of open positions, and will be invited to the oral exam. For some titles, a practical exam will also be conducted. The exams will be evaluated out of 100 points, and candidates who score at least 60 points will be considered successful.
