The tension between Iran and Israel has caused Brent crude oil prices to rise to $78 and led to significant increases in fuel prices. In the past week, gasoline prices have increased by 4.5 lira, and diesel prices have gone up by 8.5 lira. However, according to information from industry sources, there will be a reduction of 1 lira and 66 kuruş in diesel prices starting from Tuesday, June 24.
The increasing tension between Iran and Israel has caused brent oil prices to rise to $78. Following these developments, significant increases in fuel prices have occurred. In the last week, the price hikes amounted to 8.5 lira for diesel and 4.5 lira for gasoline. After these increases, a discount on diesel is expected.
INCREASES SINCE JUNE 13
On June 13, gasoline was increased by 1 lira 47 kuruş, on June 14, diesel was increased by 1 lira 47 kuruş, on June 17, diesel was increased by 1 lira 70 kuruş, on June 19, gasoline was increased by 1 lira 56 kuruş and diesel by 1 lira 87 kuruş, and on June 21, diesel was increased by 3 lira 30 kuruş and gasoline by 1 lira 51 kuruş.
NEW FUEL PRICES
With the latest increase, the price of gasoline in Istanbul has risen to 51.50 TL per liter, while the price of diesel has increased to 54.72 TL. In Ankara, gasoline has reached 52 lira 16 kuruş, and diesel has risen to 55 lira 56 kuruş. In the last week, the price hikes amounted to 8.5 lira for diesel and 4.5 lira for gasoline.
DISCOUNT COMING ON TUESDAY
According to information from industry sources, starting from Tuesday, June 24, there will be a discount of 1 lira 66 kuruş on diesel, which was increased by 3 lira 30 kuruş today.
