The statements given by some individuals who came to the courthouse as part of the drug investigation targeting famous names in Istanbul have emerged. In the case that spans from Kubilay Aka to the Dilan-Engin Polat couple and Metin Akdülger from the Talu brothers, some have appealed the report while others have admitted to their usage.

As part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on October 8, 19 famous individuals, including singers, actors, and social media influencers, were summoned to give statements at the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command, where hair and blood samples were taken. Analyses revealed traces of drugs in the hair or blood of 8 celebrities, while antidepressant active ingredients were detected in 4 individuals. As the investigation continues, the statements given by the famous individuals at the prosecutor's office have come to light.

KUBILAY AKA: GOT SICK ON VACATION, THEY GAVE MEDICATION

Actor Kubilay Aka stated before the prosecutor that he fell ill during his vacation in Bangkok, Thailand, and experienced severe headaches, explaining that he was given medication at a clinic he visited for treatment. He expressed that the substance found in his blood but not in his hair could be due to this, asserting that he did not use drugs.

DERIN AND DEREN TALU'S STATEMENTS

Among those giving statements were Defne Samyeli's daughters, Derin Talu and Deren Talu. The Talu sisters, who stated that they used antidepressant medications, denied using drugs and rejected the results in the report.

7 CELEBRITIES NOT PROSECUTED

Following the drug operation, according to the report from the Forensic Medicine Institution, no substances were found in the hair and blood samples of 7 individuals, including artists such as Hadise, İrem Derici, Mert Yazıcıoğlu, Özge Özpirinçci, Duygu Özsalan, Demet Evgar, and Meriç Aral. The cases of those whose reports came back clean were concluded with non-prosecution.
