ARIKAN, WHO SWITCHED FROM CHP TO AK PARTY: I AM HAPPY TO HAVE ENDED A 24-YEAR LONGING
Arıkan stated, "Just like at the badge-wearing ceremony, I am very excited today as well. I am very happy to have ended the 24-year longing in Söke." The CHP did not delay in responding to Arıkan.
"A PERSON SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED"
CHP Aydın Deputy Süleyman Bülbül, who made a statement on social media, harshly criticized Arıkan. Bülbül said: "Should I call him a Zübük, a usurper of the national will, or someone who betrays the will of the citizens of Söke? He is still talking. The person called Söke Mayor Mustafa İberya Arıkan said, 'I have ended a 24-year longing!' What longing is this for 24 years? A person should feel ashamed. Unbelievable!
"SHAME ON YOU"
You took the votes given to CHP in Söke, usurped them, and transferred them to the AKP. You betrayed the votes of 39,258 citizens of Söke given to the national will. Shame on you. What bargains did you make to give away the clean votes obtained at the ballot box? These votes were not given to you as the AKP candidate. Shame on you. The account for this will be asked of you at the first ballot box that comes!"
