In the Paragliding World Acro Cup held in Fethiye, Muğla, from September 10 to 14, 22-year-old national athlete Harun Karateke, who won third place in the world, made a meaningful gesture by bringing his trophy to his hometown, Alanya. Taking off from Yassıtepe with his paraglider, Karateke landed at the Alanyaspor Facilities and presented the trophy he won to Alanyaspor Club President Hasan Çavuşoğlu.
In the AWQ World Paragliding Acrobatic Championship held in Fethiye, Muğla, 22-year-old Harun Karateke, who became the world third, made a gesture to Alanyaspor President Hasan Çavuşoğlu.
HE LANDED AT THE FACILITY AND GAVE THE TROPHY TO THE PRESIDENT
During his landing, Harun Karateke was accompanied by his brother Faruk Karateke, who paraglided alongside him. Upon landing at the facility, Harun Karateke stated, "The final leg of this Paragliding World Acrobatic Championship was held in Ölüdeniz. I became the world third. I am from Alanya and I am a supporter of Alanyaspor. Therefore, I want to present this trophy to the Alanyaspor Museum."

President Hasan Çavuşoğlu thanked the successful athlete, saying, "Congratulations, may your successes be everlasting. I hope you will also become a world champion in the future."
13TH FAI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN ALANYA
After the ceremony, Harun Karateke's brother, Faruk Karateke, presented the invitation for the 13th FAI World Paragliding Target Championship, which will be held in Alanya between October 9-19, to President Hasan Çavuşoğlu. Alanyaspor President Hasan Çavuşoğlu stated, "It is very prideful. Especially, we have made serious efforts in paragliding as Alanyaspor. Young athletes are emerging. The children have really achieved great success. It is not easy to become the world third. We sincerely congratulate him. I wish him continued success. We are proud of him. I hope that athletes from Alanya in every branch will always honor us. In the future, we will provide all kinds of support to our brothers as Alanyaspor.
