A group of motorcyclists waiting at a red light in the Avsallar neighborhood of Alanya drove over police officers and insulted them when the green light turned on. Two suspects were caught and arrested by gendarmerie teams.

In the Alanya district of Antalya, two individuals from a group of motorcyclists waiting at a red light rode their motorcycles towards police officers on duty after the green light turned on. The two suspects who were detained in connection with the incident were arrested by the court they were brought before.

IT HAPPENED ON THE D-400 HIGHWAY

The incident occurred on the D-400 Highway in the İncekum neighborhood of Avsallar. According to the information obtained, the group of motorcyclists waiting at the red light moved forward after the green light turned on, despite seeing police teams conducting a road check ahead.

THEY RODE THE MOTORCYCLE TOWARDS THE POLICE

It was learned that individuals named M.A. (23) and D.U. (19) from the group rode their motorcycle towards the police officers on duty at the checkpoint.

THEY INSULTED AND SHARED ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Gendarmerie teams determined that the suspects used insulting language towards the personnel on duty during the incident and recorded these moments, sharing them on their social media accounts.

GENDARMERIE CAUGHT THEM IN A SHORT TIME

Following the incident, the İncekum Gendarmerie teams quickly took action and apprehended the suspects.

After their procedures at the gendarmerie, the two suspects were referred to the courthouse and were arrested by the Alanya Peace Criminal Court and sent to prison.
