Following the collapse of a two-story earthen-roofed house that had been evacuated a while ago in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, three surrounding houses were evacuated as a precaution.

3 HOUSES EVACUATED

Upon receiving a report of a house collapsing on 57th Street in Kale Neighborhood, police, firefighters, and teams from the Disaster Affairs and Risk Management Directorate of Siverek Municipality were dispatched to the area.

After determining that the owners of the house had recently moved to another location, the teams evacuated three nearby houses as a precaution against the potential risk of collapse.

Work has begun to remove the debris of the collapsed house with heavy machinery. The street, where security measures have been taken, has been temporarily closed to traffic by the municipality.
