The statement noted that it was determined that there had been false and contradictory statements regarding the issue, and that security and judicial units were continuing their efforts to identify those responsible. It was emphasized in the statement that a comprehensive investigation covering all aspects was necessary to determine the exact cause of the incident, and that this process required the completion of technical and laboratory studies. The statement highlighted that necessary procedures had been initiated, and that the results would be shared with the public as soon as possible after the completion of the process.

The statement also emphasized that no concessions would be made regarding individuals found to be at fault in the incident, and citizens were requested to follow developments related to the incident only through the committee established under the chairmanship of the Governor of Hormozgan.

Following the explosion at the port, a fire broke out, and firefighting, medical, and search-and-rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. It was reported that the fire that broke out at the port after the explosion had been completely extinguished and that search-and-rescue operations were ongoing. So far, it has been announced that 70 people have lost their lives and 1,210 others have been injured in the explosion.
