10 suspects, found to have provided financial assistance to dismissed captain Burkay Karatepe, who was part of an assassination team targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while he was a fugitive, were caught in operations carried out in Eskisehir and Istanbul.

Ten suspects, identified as having provided financial assistance to dismissed captain Burkay Karatepe, who was part of the assassination team targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during the period he was a fugitive, were apprehended in simultaneous operations in Istanbul and Eskisehir. It was learned that the suspects would be brought to Mugla after their procedures.

A new operation was conducted within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Mugla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terrorism Crimes Investigation Bureau against FETO.

In the investigation, individuals identified as having helped dismissed captain Burkay Karatepe, who was part of the assassination team targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during the time he was a fugitive, were scrutinized.

IDENTIFIED THROUGH DIGITAL MATERIALS

Within the scope of the investigation, digital materials seized from Karatepe were examined. The examinations revealed findings indicating that certain individuals provided financial assistance to Karatepe while he was being sought as a fugitive.

It was stated that there were also determinations and identifications indicating that the suspects were linked to FETO.

SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION IN TWO PROVINCES

Following the obtained findings, an operation decision was made against a total of 10 suspects, 5 in Istanbul and 5 in Eskisehir.

In simultaneous operations conducted in both provinces in the morning hours, all 10 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody. Digital materials found at the addresses were also confiscated.

THEY WILL BE BROUGHT TO MUGLA

It was learned that the detained suspects would be handed over by Mugla Police Department teams and brought to Mugla, where the investigation is being conducted.
