Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Crime Prevention Branch continue their efforts to prevent the crime of manufacturing and trafficking drugs or stimulants and to capture suspects.
THEY WERE GOING TO PRODUCE TONS
After technical and physical surveillance, teams determined the presence of drugs at an address and in a vehicle in Zeytinburnu and conducted a simultaneous operation.
During the operation, 3 suspects were captured, and searches uncovered 115 kilograms and 500 grams of raw material used in drug manufacturing.
The suspects were taken to the police station for processing.
It was learned that the seized raw material was estimated to be capable of producing 11.5 tons of drugs.
