16 PEOPLE KILLED
According to local media reports, unidentified armed individuals who arrived in the Barkin Ladi area of Plateau state opened fire. 16 people died in the attack, and many others were wounded.
HOUSES SET ON FIRE
In the attack, where numerous houses were also set on fire, dozens of people were forced to leave their homes. In a previous armed attack carried out by some armed gang members, who periodically conduct attacks in Plateau state, on April 20 in the Berom area of the state, 6 people had lost their lives.
