A person was shot in the legs and injured by a friend they were drinking alcohol with in Diyarbakır Sur. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

A person was shot in the leg by a friend he was drinking alcohol with in the central Sur district of Diyarbakır.

H.K. (24) was drinking alcohol with a group of friends on Gazi Street in the Cemal Yılmaz neighborhood of the district. H.K. was wounded after being shot in the leg with a gun by a friend in the group for reasons not yet determined.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE INCIDENT

Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured person was taken to the hospital after initial medical intervention.
