The Sivrice district of Elazığ was shaken by successive earthquakes starting from the morning hours. According to AFAD data, earthquakes of magnitudes 3.6 and 3.9, occurring 4 hours apart, caused unease in the region. Citizens went outside after the tremors.
Consecutive earthquakes occurred in the Sivrice district of Elazığ starting from the morning hours. The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that a 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at 10:37 AM.
According to data shared by AFAD, the depth of the earthquake was measured at 11.07 kilometers. The tremor, which caused brief panic, was also felt in surrounding districts.
THERE WAS ALSO A TREMOR EARLY IN THE MORNING
The first earthquake of the day in the region occurred early in the morning. A 3.6 magnitude earthquake centered in Sivrice was recorded at 6:45 AM.
While the earthquakes occurring at short intervals in the same area worried citizens, some people went outside their homes after the tremor.
No information about any negative situation was received in the region following the tremors.
