In drug operations organized in Esenler and Bahçelievler, 42 kilograms of chemical substances that could be used in the production of 4 tons 200 grams of synthetic drugs and 25 kilograms 90 grams of marijuana were seized. 2 suspects were taken into custody.

Istanbul Police Department Narcotics Crimes Combat Branch Directorate teams conducted work to prevent drug manufacturing and trafficking and to apprehend suspects.

Within the scope of the work, teams raided a vehicle in Esenler and a house in Bahçelievler and caught 2 suspects. During searches in the vehicle and house, 42 kilograms of chemical substances that could be used in the production of 4 tons 200 grams of synthetic drugs and 25 kilograms 90 grams of cannabis were seized.

2 SUSPECTS CAUGHT

The 2 suspects taken into custody were referred to the courthouse after procedures at the police station on charges of "manufacturing and trafficking narcotic or stimulant substances."
