3 Latvians die in fall from Mount McKinley in the US

During the climb of McKinley, the highest mountain in North America, 3 Latvian climbers fell to their deaths, while one climber was rescued.

Three Latvian climbers lost their lives after falling from McKinley, North America's highest mountain.

An ascent of Mount McKinley in Denali National Park and Preserve in the U.S. state of Alaska ended in tragedy. According to a statement from the National Park Service, four climbers from a group of seven fell near Denali Pass on Wednesday while climbing the 6,190-meter-high mountain.

NORTH AMERICA'S HIGHEST MOUNTAIN 

It was reported that three Latvian climbers died in the accident, while another was rescued. The remaining three climbers in the group safely returned to a camp on the mountain. The incident occurred at an altitude above 5,500 meters.

Mount McKinley, standing 6,190 meters above sea level, is known as the highest mountain in North America.
