38 of the 44 suspects sent to court in a fake defect report operation organized in 7 provinces centered in Şanlıurfa were arrested.
In an operation targeting fake medical exemption reports centered in Şanlıurfa across 7 provinces, 38 out of 44 suspects sent to the courthouse were arrested. The operation was conducted by the Şanlıurfa Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate (KOM) and JASAT teams in 7 provinces, with Şanlıurfa as the center.
6 PEOPLE RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
The operation, targeting those who obtained and issued fake exemption reports to avoid military service, was carried out simultaneously in Gaziantep, Muğla, Istanbul, Trabzon, Mersin, and Kahramanmaraş, with Şanlıurfa as the center. During the operation, 44 suspects were detained. Of the suspects sent to the courthouse, 38 were arrested and sent to prison, while 6 suspects were released under judicial control.
