Within the scope of the FETÖ investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a detention decision was issued for a total of 80 active police personnel serving in various ranks at the General Directorate of Security, and 70 of them were detained. It was determined that the suspects organized organizational meetings within the police clandestine structure and acted together with the organization's leaders.
Within the scope of 5 separate investigations conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the public covert structure of FETÖ/PDY, 166 out of 205 suspects, determined to have used the organization's encrypted communication program ByLock and to have organizational connections, were detained.
47 SUSPECTS CONTINUING ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES DETAINED
According to the statement made by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 57 suspects were identified who were assessed to be active within FETÖ/PDY and continuing their organizational activities. Within this context, 47 of the suspects were detained.
33 SUSPECTS DETAINED IN THE MARRIAGE STRUCTURE
In another investigation, 45 suspects were identified who were assessed to be active within the public covert marriage structure of FETÖ/PDY and continuing their organizational activities. Within this context, 33 of the suspects were detained.
9 FETÖ FUGITIVES CAPTURED
In another investigation, an operation was carried out against fugitive suspects of FETÖ/PDY. Out of 11 individuals whose addresses were determined and for whom arrest warrants were issued, 9 were captured and detained.
70 POLICE OFFICERS ACTING WITH ORGANIZATION LEADERS DETAINED
In another investigation, 80 active police personnel were identified who organized organizational meetings within the police covert structure of FETÖ/PDY and acted together with organization leaders. Through the operation conducted within this context, 70 suspects serving in the police department were detained.
7 BYLOCK USERS DETAINED
Additionally, in another investigation, 12 suspects using the organizational communication program ByLock were identified. Within this context, detention decisions were issued for a total of 12 suspects, including 4 active public officials. Through the operation, 7 suspects were detained.
166 PEOPLE CAPTURED, 39 SUSPECTS SOUGHT
Following the detention decision issued for a total of 205 suspects, 166 suspects were captured and detained in a simultaneous operation. It was reported that efforts to capture the remaining suspects and the investigation are being conducted thoroughly and from multiple angles.
