61 criminals were brought to Turkey: Is 'B.K.' Batuhan Karadeniz?

The Ministry of Interior announced that a total of 61 criminals, including 16 individuals wanted with a red notice and 45 individuals wanted at the national level, have been brought to Turkey from 7 different countries. Among the names mentioned in the statement, the alias "B.K." stands out, while it was claimed that former football player Batuhan Karadeniz was detained in the United Arab Emirates yesterday as part of an illegal betting investigation.

The Ministry of Interior announced that 61 criminals have been brought back to Turkey as part of operations targeting suspects who have fled abroad and are subject to search warrants. It was reported that 16 individuals wanted with a red notice and 45 individuals wanted at the national level were captured during the operation.

Among the captured names, the alias "B.K." drew attention, and it was claimed that this person could be the former football player Batuhan Karadeniz, mentioned in an illegal betting investigation. It was alleged that Karadeniz was captured in the United Arab Emirates and brought back to Turkey.

The ministry's statement is as follows:

"A total of 61 criminals, including 16 wanted with a red notice and 45 wanted at the national level, were brought back to our country from Georgia (50), Germany (4), Greece (3), Poland, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, and Bulgaria.

Those wanted internationally with a red notice (16) include F.A., T.A., T.Ç., H.M., Ç.İ., O.M., H.Ç., G.Ç., A.Y., Ş.K., H.A., R.C., D.N.N.Ç., V.S., A.D., and S.Ç., while those wanted at the national level (45) include B.G., O.O.D., T.U., S.Y., A.L., M.K., F.A., Ş.A., E.İ., M.B., Y.D., İ.Y., E.A., U.U., H.A., V.K., C.B., O.K., E.D., F.G., A.R.U., A.B., R.G., Ö.M., M.K., İ.K., A.Y., K.K., K.A., H.İ., M.T., S.A., H.K., M.A.Ç., H.İ., Z.Y., U.Ö., A.Ç., Y.Ç., A.A., B.K., H.Y., M.A., A.K., and İ.A. were captured and returned to our country.

The EGM Interpol-Europol Department, officials from the Ministry of Justice, KOM, Intelligence and Narcotics Crime Departments, Cyber, Public Order, and Counter-Terrorism Departments meticulously tracked the individuals who fled abroad and are subject to search warrants. The return of the captured individuals to our country was ensured through joint cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of the relevant countries.

We continue to capture and bring back members of organized crime groups and drug traffickers wanted with a red notice and at the national level. We congratulate our Department Heads, our Presidencies, and our Hero Police. We thank the officials of the Ministry of Justice."

OPERATION WITH INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

It was stated that the operation was carried out under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security Interpol-Europol Department, with the contributions of the Ministry of Justice, KOM, Intelligence, Narcotics, Cyber, Public Order, and Counter-Terrorism units. It was expressed that joint work was conducted with the security units of the relevant countries in capturing the suspects.

THE MOST RETURNS FROM GEORGIA

According to ministry data, the most returns occurred from Georgia. A total of 50 individuals, including 8 wanted with a red notice and 42 wanted at the national level, were brought back from Georgia to Turkey. Four were captured from Germany, three from Greece, and one red-noticed suspect each from Poland and Portugal. Additionally, one person was returned from the United Arab Emirates and one from Bulgaria.

WANTED FOR SERIOUS CRIMES

It was determined that the captured suspects were wanted for numerous serious crimes, including intentional murder, qualified sexual abuse of a child, drug trafficking, human smuggling, fraud, cyber crimes, robbery, human trafficking, and membership in a terrorist organization.
