In the Şirvan district of Siirt, 7 members of the same family were hospitalized with suspected poisoning after consuming mushrooms they had collected from nature. Help was requested from medical teams for the family members who became ill within a short time. The 7 people, who were taken to the hospital by ambulances arriving at the scene, were referred to Siirt Training and Research Hospital after their initial treatment.

THEY BECAME ILL AFTER EATING MUSHROOMS
The incident occurred in the Kayalı hamlet of Kayahisar village in Şirvan district. Seven people from the same family who ate mushrooms they collected in the hamlet became ill after a while. Their relatives, suspecting mushroom poisoning, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
7 PEOPLE WERE REFERRED TO HOSPITAL
Upon the report, 112 Emergency Medical Teams were directed to the region. The 7 people, who were given first aid at the scene by medical teams, were taken to Şirvan District Integrated State Hospital.
After the initial intervention here, the 7 people were referred to Siirt Training and Research Hospital for further examination and treatment.
