During inspections conducted by police teams in Hatay targeting SPA and massage parlors, various deficiencies were identified, and legal proceedings were initiated against 9 foreign nationals found to be working without permits.
Teams from the Hatay Provincial Police Department conducted a comprehensive inspection of SPA and massage parlors operating throughout the province. During the operations, a total of 8 establishments were checked, and numerous regulatory violations were detected, while 9 foreign nationals without work permits were apprehended and handed over to the Removal Center for deportation.
HYGIENE DEFICIENCIES DREW ATTENTION
During the simultaneous inspections held on August 8th, the establishments were put under close scrutiny. Inspections by police forces revealed that 1 establishment lacked an operating license, 1 lacked a tax plate, and 1 lacked a hygiene certificate. Additionally, it was determined that in 2 businesses, the responsible manager required by law was not on duty, and 1 establishment was found to be keeping its front door locked in violation of inspection rules.
11 PEOPLE FOUND WORKING WITHOUT INSURANCE
Serious irregularities were also detected in inspections of the staff at the establishments. Checks revealed that 12 employees were providing services without hygiene certificates, and 11 personnel were working unregistered without insurance enrollments.
9 FOREIGN NATIONALS TO BE DEPORTED
The most notable aspect of the inspections was in the fight against illegal employment. Nine foreign nationals found to be working unlawfully without work permits were taken into custody by police forces. After their procedures at the police station, the individuals were referred to the Removal Center affiliated with the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation. It was reported that necessary judicial and administrative processes have been initiated against the establishments and their owners found to have acted in violation of regulations.
