A 12-year-old child who received his report card yesterday in Hakkari was attacked by stray dogs while going to the library in the district to borrow books today. The child, who was seriously injured, passed away at the hospital despite all medical interventions.
A terrible incident occurred in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari. Yesterday, E.T. (12) received his report card at Ahmed-i Hani Middle School and left home today to get a book from the library in the district.
CHILD ATTACKED BY DOGS DIES
The child was attacked by stray dogs near the Environmental Road in the Yeni Mahalle. E.T., who was rescued with the help of those around, was seriously injured due to the dogs biting his neck. Health and police teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. After the first intervention by the health teams at the scene, the child was taken to Yüksekova State Hospital by ambulance, but despite all interventions, he lost his life.
RELATIVES WERE OVERWHELMED WITH TEARS
E.T.'s lifeless body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy. Relatives who came to the hospital upon receiving the sad news were overwhelmed with tears, and some experienced nervous breakdowns.
