Influencer Fatma Soydaş, who drew reactions for her posts targeting religious values to gain traction on social media, was detained in Istanbul upon the order of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Access to all of Soydaş’s social media accounts has been blocked in Turkey, following the initiation of legal proceedings on charges of 'publicly denigrating the religious values embraced by a segment of the population.'

Fatma Soydaş, a TikTok and Instagram influencer who made posts degrading religious values to gain engagement on social media, was detained by police teams in Istanbul. As part of the investigation initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, access to all of Soydaş's social media accounts has been blocked.

CHARGE OF INSULTING RELIGIOUS VALUES

A legal process has been initiated against Fatma Soydaş, known for her content on TikTok and Instagram and previously in the spotlight with controversial posts. In the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a detention decision was made against Soydaş on charges of "publicly insulting religious values adopted by a segment of the public." Following the decision, security forces took action and detained the social media influencer in Istanbul.

ACCESS BANNED TO ALL ACCOUNTS

In a statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the matter, it was reported that measures have been taken regarding the influencer's social media accounts as part of the ongoing judicial investigation. In line with the decision, access to all of Fatma Soydaş's social media accounts, including TikTok and Instagram, has been blocked from Turkey. It has been learned that Soydaş, who was detained, is still undergoing procedures at the police station.
