IGNITED RIGHT AFTER LEAVING THE STATION

The incident occurred at a fuel station on the Esendere road in the Yuksekova district. The car, which Mesut Akyol had refueled, caught fire and began to burn as it was leaving the station. Akyol and his two sons, who managed to escape from the car engulfed in flames, were injured.

2 CHILDREN TRANSPORTED TO VAN

The injured, who received initial medical intervention at the scene by health teams, were taken to Yuksekova State Hospital by ambulances. As a result of the doctors' assessment there, two children aged 14 and 10, who were found to have severe burns on their bodies, were transported by ambulance to Van Regional Training and Research Hospital due to the lack of a fully equipped burn unit in the district. It was learned that the father, M.A., who continues treatment at Yuksekova State Hospital, is being monitored in stable condition.

INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

Meanwhile, a comprehensive investigation launched by security forces and firefighting teams to determine whether the fire was caused by an explosion or a leak is ongoing.
