A body of a 5-6 year old boy was found washed up on the shore in the Karaburun district of Izmir.

A MALE CHILD'S BODY WAS FOUND ON THE BEACH

Residents who saw the body on the beach in the Küçükbahçe neighborhood reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, health, gendarmerie, and Coast Guard teams were dispatched to the area. The teams conducted an investigation at the scene and on the body.

Initial findings determined that the body belonged to a male child aged 5-6 years. The lifeless body was sent to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. The Coast Guard Command initiated a judicial investigation regarding the incident.
