In the Sinanpaşa district of Afyonkarahisar, a couple died and their 8-month-old baby was seriously injured when their car crashed into barriers.
A couple lost their lives and their 8-month-old baby was severely injured when their car crashed into barriers in the Sinanpaşa district of Afyonkarahisar. The car with license plate 35 MSB 45, driven by Hasan Samur (27), hit barriers and overturned near the Balmahmut village on the Afyonkarahisar-Uşak highway.
In the accident, the driver and his wife Zehra Özkan Samur (26) died, while their 8-month-old baby, Aybars Kaan Samur, was severely injured. Upon notification, health, police, gendarmerie, fire, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured baby was taken to Afyonkarahisar State Hospital by ambulance. The bodies of the couple, trapped in the car, were extracted by the teams and taken to the Sinanpaşa State Hospital morgue.
It was also learned that Hasan Samur worked as a specialist sergeant at the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Gendarmerie Command, and his wife worked as a civil servant at Afyon Kocatepe University.
